As developers participate in challenges we want to enhance their visibility and clout with good developer profiles. We also want to make progress on the new wiki.

(P1) Member/developer profile system

Summary:

  • As we focus on building out a stronger community of developers, we need to create a space for them to share more about themselves and help them find each other. With active docs contributors and demo authors joining MDN, it is important to build out more robust developer profile dashboards for them. This is the first step towards that goal.

Goals:

  • Create a django based profile dashboard to members
    • Personal info they wish to share with the community
    • Docs feed (docs watched, edited, etc)
    • Demos feed (submitted, liked, shared, etc)
  • Link to new profile page from Demo Studio (and any other places that make sense)
