Schedule Update

  • Build of 35.0.1 mobile for bug 1108709
  • GTB of Desktop beta 7 soon
  • MSE is going to be disabled in beta 7
  • If the results do not improve with MSE being disabled, D2D 1.1 is going to be disabled in beta 8
  • The Flash protected mode experiment is on going until beta 9

Add-ons

  • Bug 1128534 - Flash block. Blocks have been staged (except for Linux, which is coming) and are awaiting QA.

  • same as before, 1120331 is almost 30% now.

  • overall rate: 2.3 (when we should have 1.0-1.2)
  • GFX:
    • bug 1124249 (Intel, GL) is FIXED in 36.0b6!
    • bug 1116812 (D3D11) is ~5.2% - discussions going on
    • bug 1128179 (SourceBufferDecoder::WasTrimmed) is 4.2%, patch in b7
    • bug 1089454 (D2D) is ~4.2% in sum, fix not applicable to beta
    • bug 1081911 (RotatedContentBuffer::BeginPaint) is 2%, fix in b7
    • bug 1114976 (AtomicRefCountedWithFinalize::Release) is 1.1%
  • Media:
    • It looks like we would get to ~1.8-1.9 crashes/hADI
    • bug 1127173 (OOM in stagefright) is FIXED in b6
  • Shutdown hangs: overall ~.3 crashes/hADI
    • bug 1124880 (nsHttpConnectionMgr::Shutdown) is 1.7%

Release

  • still looking good.

Mobile

  • 35.0.1 should fix the OMX crashes on Rockchip SoC devices.

Flash is still trending up (running a bit down from the spike on the 29th, but still about 2-3x normal). People are having a hard time finding an update that will let them use Flash (or PluginCheck is being unclear). Heartbeat is landing in 37
