Fennec

  • Crash rate is calculated based on usage hours (the time Firefox is actively used).
  • Usage hours will be significantly lower on Fennec than on desktop Firefox, so we can't compare mobile rates to desktop rates.

Feature Status Review

  • Fx79 Feature list looks stable. Confirming with Feature owners that we are ready to ship. No challenged or at risk items.

    • Still waiting on work to land around 'Windows Default Browser Agent - Remote Kill switch'

    • 'Webcompat extension QA' and 'ETP workarounds for site breakage' have slipped to Fx81 as they will not land before the soft code freeze
  • Off train work has a few challenged items and some launchs
    • 'DNS Over HTTPS: Comcast Rollout/Experiments' is at risk due to a Comcast performance issue
    • Waiting on update around 'ETP: Cookie Restrictions: List 2'. Previously marked as challenged due to discrepancy with Google revenue data
