SUMO Report

Roundtable & Special Topics

Post-Mortem (Tues 2wks from GA Release)

fx85 notes: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DEpgPwFLFPdHClB1Lg7zieMMnglElfDJUyg8roUhUTs/edit#

Highlights:

  • appreciated the holiday break and added 2 weeks
  • stability issues in early beta were fixed in a timely fashion
  • we shipped rc1, which is quite rare
  • 2 dot releases
    • driver for 85.0.1 was printing related
    • driver for 85.0.2 was a deadlock in networking, we don't really know why it showed up in 85; didn't bubble up until after shipping 85.0.1
