Mobile Stability

  • MR2 - kick-offs have been held, TP & TCs creation started, also execution where Nightly testing was requested, with the exception of which should be ready for testing starting tomorrow
  • There is potential for a notable startup perf regression due to additional themes. Investigation by engineering in progress.

Aurora / Dev Edition

  • Pre-Release reports are in progress
  • Win 11 - final round of testing will start soon, ESR 91 to be covered as well
  • Win 10 21H2 update - 2nd round of testing completed today, no related issues found, Nightly 94 and ESR 78 were covered as well

Action items

Feature Status Review

  • Firefox 93 - On Track
  • Firefox 94 - Challenged
    • Challenged status mostly driven by MR2 scope
      • Waiting on onboarding requirements for Monochromatic themes. Seems highly likely we'll have uplifts during the beta cycle. There's also some concern around startup perf. Not a blocker but something to be aware of.
      • Another MR2 objective 'New users don’t get interrupted when closing Firefox' was expected to be dev complete already. Marked as challenged. New devcomplete date is 9/22.
