2000 tests accounts have been created. One facebook test account has been populated with 500+ friends. Encountering some issues to go further than 535 programmatically. Adding friends manually by the dashboard is doable though.

    • ADI issues: Nightly returning back to normal, yesterday lost some 10-20% of ADI across the board, so crash rates are somewhat higher than expected.
    • Beta is still a bit higher than expected, hopefully the patches we have will help.

    • Compat testing for removal of 1024-bit root certs
    • Shumway security review

Mobile (Tchung)

  • Firefox for Android (Kbrosnan/AaronMT)
    • Stability (kbrosnan)

    • 1.3t : smoke tests have broken 3 days in a row
    • 1.4 is moving into reduced QA support - QA Wanted & smoketesting only

    • Latest Flame base image has most RIL-related issues resolved except SMS per bug 1008557
    • 2.0 has a decent amount of flux with smoketest regressions

      • Clint set up a separate "qalab" Wi-Fi router in the lab yesterday, which we're testing -- initial results looked promising, but today we're seeing issues. We'll continue troubleshooting, and will work with IT to get "ateam" more performant and reliable
      • Johan put a night-light in the rack, in hopes we can help mitigate camera failures due to aperture problems (low-light levels)
      • Johan also ran and taped-up the earbuds' cords, so we can hopefully also mitigate failures in tuning for FM stations (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1000863 )
  • Bouncer
    • no updates from our side; scaling out is happening on the IT side, and our tests continue to provide coverage (both prod and staging)

    • Once stabilization of the new geocoding feature has occurred test automation will be refactored to take into account the new workflows. Until this time mozillians.dev* jobs are not being run on a cron.
