Launch Market Consumer Preview to an early adopter audience for Windows, Mac OS and Android platforms with new UX flows(Justin, Bryan, Bill)

  • Myk working with Harald to nail down WebRT strategy for Android
  • Anant working with Dan and Tim to nail down WebRT strategy for desktop
  • revised mozApps API design is done, implementation can begin
  • ISSUE: need to maintain consumer-facing marketplace pages on apps-preview-dev for integ. testing

Security (mcoates)

  • Threat modeling planned for marketplace on Friday 2/3/2012 - rforbes leading
  • Weekly checkins taking place to stay on top of payment options
  • Working off of timelines set forth in Market Project Plan
    • Other documented project plans would be helpful
  • Involved with browser changes too
  • Still working to setup meetings with B2G

  • First steps are to explore what we can do with HTML5 dashboard on mobile safari and how apps work.

Branding and visual identity for Market locked down (Jane)

  • Working on logo and finalizing the Marketplace tag line.

Business: Business model "in code." Distribution to developers working (Ragavan, Ron)

Launch readiness plan in place (including support) (Justin, Ragavan, Jennifer)

Go to market plan in place. (Jane)

Administrivia

  • Hiring a program/release manager.
  • Finalizing MWC demo flow.
  • Hiring a Sr. Interaction Designer, with mobile App development experience to work on Soup as well as Marketplace.
