Create a P2PU School of Webcraft Course

Hosted at and run in conjunction with the | Peer Learning Lighthouse

Take the first steps in designing a course for the School of Webcraft

We'll work alongside members of the Peer 2 Peer University community to shape web skills and knowledge into peer-run courses.

Explore course ideas for the next round of Webcraft. Develop course proposals that consider participant requirements and learning objectives. Learn how to collaborate with the community and course participants to refine your course idea.

What do you want to achieve?

4-8 Course Proposals on their way to becoming Course Drafts for SoW January 2011

16 people aware that they have the capacity to lead a course in a Peer based learning environment.

5 people thinking about course materials and ideas for future rounds.

25 people more aware of the P2Pu and School of Webcraft model.

Who should come? How many? For how long?

People wishing to run a course at P2PU School of Webcraft, Past Course organisers, Web experts 25 people max 1 hour

What will they do when they get there?

Participants will get guided through the Course Design Process by Alison Jean Cole and other P2PU members. School of Webcraft members will share their domain specific knowledge around leading Webcraft courses. Start Drafting ideas for courses including using materials from MDN and WaSP Web experts will share their feedback on course ideas.

What will you / they have at the end?

Participants will have increased capacity in organising courses SoW will have some strong course ideas in process for the January round

This will build off the 10 minute course sprint run at the Mozilla Summit.
