Webazaars Barcelona — A web maker faire
A gathering of smart people and communities who build things on the Web and for the user. Come and discover how fun and creative is the web. Learn, have fun, build.
This is an event organized by Mozilla Catalan Community with the support of other local groups and initiatives.
Vision
An user centric event.
- Focused on "how-to and making". Use creativity to help others build awesome things on the web.
- Help web users to learn about how the Internet works, privacy and the web, in a funny way.
- Engaged communities. Bring citzens web users and communities together.
Where and when
The first prototype of a Webazaar will take place in Barcelona.

We're designing around the way kids learn technology, based on Mizuko Ito's concepts of hanging out, messing around and geeking out. Tools include HTML Pad and X-Ray Goggles that let kids bend, blend, and remix websites easily. |
