Your notes, feedback & questions for the next iteration
- Move sign-up rationale stuff, push it into right column
- use left two columns for real content, to follow site-wide design template better
- Include rationale on how you collect karma points -- highlight the "people" process the way we've explained and highlighted the "projects" process
People Page strategy
- We need to explain our assumptions about how Drumbeat's social architecture will work
- Include most recently edited profiles -- some measure of activity
- Also need to tie that to our technological capabilities -- how will CiviCRM track and advance our ability to promote high-profile creators
Could do Weekly People Profiles?
- Would be interesting to regularly profile someone from the Drumbeat community
- could be one of the content streams for the blog, etc.
- Not necessarily just project leads, but active community members
- Need to consider the staffing / resourcing implications of this. It takes work
- Should help PROMOTE and RAISE the profile of Drumbeat community members
- Should draw heavily from social media feeds (esp. Twitter and individual's blog posts) to feed into the drum circle
- This should feel like a conversation & collaboration where Drumbeat people INVENT the FUTURE of the INTERNET
- Highlight those members of the Drumbeat community who are helping / contributing the most. Those earning the most "karma points"
- Should feel like a space where everyday Drumbeat heroes and helpers are "rubbing shoulders" with Internet celebs and thought leaders. A diverse mix of people you haven't heard of -- rubbing shoulders with people you have.
