We anticipate requiring the following resources from Mozilla and/or Creative Commons in support of the Learning in the Open initiative:

• At least one paid support person early on, perhaps two (one in each organization?)
• Travel funding for speakers who can help seed the process
  • Ideally we use regional leaders for this role, at least once things are rolling
• Start up costs and and ongoing operational expenses for the online community site
• Probably some seed money for production of course materials (video, slides, etc.), which can then snowball
• A fundraising system to allow people to make donations in support of Learning in the Open activities
  • Probably also allow local organizers to do fundraising asks a la Kiva
• Marketing and PR support
