Firefox 3.0.19 / Firefox 3.5.9 / Firefox 3.6.2

  • all blockers checked in
  • a few approved but not yet checked in patches remain, we'll be deciding what to do with those shortly, most will likely not land
  • builds will "bake" for a while while QA starts tests, official builds to start on March 15

Firefox 3.0.18 / Firefox 3.5.8 -> Firefox 3.6 Advertised Major Update

Gecko Developer Preview 1.9.3a3



  • Jetpack SDK 0.1 released yesterday (Tuesday, March 9)
    • initial release of SDK
    • new codebase being incubated for production-quality integration with Firefox
  • Jetpack SDK 0.2 tentative release date Monday, March 29
    • first release incorporating high-level APIs for easy extension development

  • New plan of attack for Rethinking the Mozilla Web Universe
  • Website Optimizations
    • Currently 3 First Run variations and 2 IE page variations in testing and hope to have download.html test implemented next week. Read more here
