Overall Project Health - GREEN

• We are making progress against all the Q3 goals in a timely manner.

Timeline & Scope

• Q3 Goals:
  • Client support for system add-ons install and update (Tracking: 1183866)
  • Implement lightweight build, test, and release pipeline for go-faster (Tracking: 1184524)
  • Ship v1 of Firefox Experiments / Idea Town (Tracking: 1184527)
  • Security policy updates through new update service ("Balrog 2.0") (Tracking: 1184528)

• Q4 Goals:
  • Implement Hello UI as an add-on, and ship it via go-faster
  • Ship Universal Search as a Firefox Experiment

Exec Summary

• Q3/4 goals in place and currently on track.
• Team is now in place with resources for all major project areas
• Project infrastructure (wiki, mailing list, tracking bugs) established
• Product Requirements Document in progress, to be done this week

Risks/Issues

• We were concerned about having resources to build the test implementation of Hello in Q3 but we have now scoped it appropriately (test implementation only) and the risk is mitigated.
