Project Updates
Add-ons
E10s
- [mconley] All appears to be holding steady for a 48 controlled roll-out. Heartbeat study review will begin on July 8th
- [mconley] After months in the Yellow "At Risk" category, we're finally Green on our status sheet: https://wiki.mozilla.org/E10s/Status/July1 (lots of goodies on that page, tried to get some highlights)
- 0 M9's! https://www.myinstants.com/media/sounds/mlg-airhorn.mp3 (warning: loud)
- We have a cohort of roughly half a million users running with e10s on Beta
- We're targeting a11y API support (which also includes touchscreens, RDP, and other odder uses) for 50
- The add-ons team is hoping to support a small whitelist of add-ons with e10s support for 50
- Multiple content process initiative has begun: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Electrolysis/Multiple_content_processes
- [mconley] Reminder that the e10s team is starting to dissolve. e10s bugs are now everybody's responsibility
- But we're not disappearing. We're subject experts, and happy to consult / clean up our messes.
Firefox Core Engineering (+ team formerly known as "performance engineering")

- [ddurst] Symbolication server (symbolapi.m.o) is gradually stabilizing. Next step is to move the infrastructure, then add metrics and monitoring.
