Support

  • Top 3.5 issues:

      • Norton has released a hotfix that users can apply to resolve this issue; they expect a full automatic patch for users later in the summer
    • Slowness at start up
  • SUMO has a push to write articles for top crashes (even if we don't know much). We'll be keywording crash bugs with user-doc-needed (please help tag if you see one).
  • Do we have contacts at Ask? Their toolbar/MyWebSearch can cause issues and does not warn users: bug 479544

Engineering

    • finishing up current work
    • avoiding things that could break other code areas
    • looking to branch / hit 3.6a1 milestone at the end of the month
  • proposed product roadmap:

      • Fennec 1.0 end of summer
      • Windows CE builds at RC end of summer
      • Firefox 3.6 mid-to-late fall
    • mozilla-1.9.3
      • branch mid-to-late fall
      • not sure which products will be consumers
      • perhaps a Firefox 3.7 for late spring 2010

QA

Release Engineering

    • Mac and unsigned win32 en-US builds are out, locales for both are coming later today, and signed win32 + updates will be out tomorrow

Add-Ons

Partners

  • 3.0.* Partner Repacks discontinued. All distributions will now be based on current versions of 3.5.

  • Yahoo! actively distributing 3.5 Yahoo! Edition in 27 locales now.
