Description
The second edition of the International Congress of Free Software, Free Software Asunción 2011, turns 19 and September 20 at Hotel Crowne Plaza Asuncion.
The objective of this seminar is to disseminate information about the different implementations of FOSS in the region for the public and private sectors. This also will feature training workshops for the use of various technology tools free and open.
Using free software, many countries and organizations were able to improve their administrative processes and communication, at lower cost and greater technological efficiency between different public and private bodies. According to the Free Software Foundation free software refers to the users' freedom to run, study, modify, copy and distribute the software, and redistribute modified or not.
