Firefox / Fennec updates

  • No RC builds yet for either Fennec or Firefox
  • Working on updated revisions for both
  • Final Firefox not shipping before Jan 4th

Web L10n

Firefox

  • 3.6 FR/WN: 46 locales ready
  • 3.6 Major update page: 32 locales ready
    • Will start pinging people that are behind for these in-product pages

Mobile

  • Patched existing mobile pages to implement most of the many changes they had recently on the en-US version with minimum l10n impact

Thunderbird

  • TB3 Major Update page: 20 locales done
  • TB3 landing pages: only 5 locales missing now
  • TB3 product pages: 26 locales done

Other

  • Mozilla Europe in Swedish released
  • 3.6 google snippets: 49 locales collected
  • 3.5.7 being prepared by beltzner, I checked with him regarding localization of release notes and schedule, planned for January 5
  • 3.6 content for mozilla europe to start after Christmas
  • Plugincheck page: planning localization for January, code is working
  • Registration form ready for FOSDEM, William will start sending invites tomorrow to selected localizers
  • Quarterly surveys removed

AMO

Productization

  • updated l10n-src-verification for browser & mobile
    • yahoo icon updates so far
    • Japanese google
    • Japanese yahoo
  • Italian De Mauro->Hoepli switch (signoff taken for 3.5 and 3.6 for removal of De Mauro, still waiting before we can add Hoepli)
  • Mobile: es-AR search bug fixed, opt-in for es-AR taken (that's our 37th locale!)

Tools

  • Dashboard down to 4 P1 bugs
    • long pole is privacy policy
  • Total of 23 filed bugs
  • Some progress made on bugsy app, struggling with jetpack to extract data
