  • L20n work all week

    • Emailed each of the 8 new locale leaders to ping them to start working
    • Emailed Joe from Iloko and Rajesh from Maithili to start working or provide us an explanation or strategy on how they intend to proceed

  • Edited wiki page describing what we do to review new locales
  • Prompted Slater's design contractor, Lee Tom, to update the mockups for chowse' I/A work
  • 1-on-1s with the team
  • Sent Firefox Home to the Apple App Store, closed all open bugs for the project
  • Informed Fennec team that we are not localizing beta 1

Pascal

  • code for transition pages set up on moco for per locale download tracking in webtrends as per Lauras request, simple 'thank you' message, different styling and messaging if beta or stable release, currently we have it working for beta only. Transition pages activable on a per locale basis (possibility of per locale messaging there). 41 locales done in a week.
  • updated video subs for tabcandy video that became the panorama video, added more code flexibility in the process, most locales have updated their subtitles, remaining ones have English subtitles
  • working on more beta promos on 3.6.9 whatsnew page and SEM campaigns as well as September Google snippets
  • talked with stas about the international website package, could be used on the Firefox Next Generation engagement campaign
  • New volunteer for Finnish localization, Anne, from the Ubuntu community (contact forwarded by Womoz)
