  • Update PluralRules patch
  • Draft a document describing data model differences between MessageFormat and FTL for ICU

Struggles last week:

  • ECMA work is a bit stalled - need to make progress on PluralRules and UnitFormat soon
  • Intl API patches are pending :waldo's feedback/review
  • Waiting for :waldo to finish Number.prototype.formatToParts patch
  • We're still doing a lot of guesswork around DOM/Layout - need to find a mentor from that team

  • explained tpaint numbers and regressions
  • explained l20n performance numbers
  • laid out plan for the next 4 weeks of l20n work
  • attended work week
  • met with ICU about L20n and designed the path forward
  • finished mozIntl.getDisplayNames patch and submitted it for review
  • Major speed-ups in L20n entries parser (30%) on reference file
