Tools / L20n

Q4 evangelism goals
  • Primary focus: Making the transition from l10n to l20n.
  • Finalize branding decisions for l20n.
  • Get contributors/feedback from LocWorld presentation.
  • Once 1.0 beta is released, send out announcement company-wide asking for people to experiment with it in their projects (message also needs to firmly state that we're putting this out there because we think this is right [no design/feature feedback, only dogfooding bug feedback])
  • Doc migration to MDN.
  • Brown bag/screencast on making the transition to l20n.
Q4 dev goals
  • Release 1.0 beta (yay!)
    • bug squashing, testing, performance, doc
    • define what 1.0 release means
    • possible beta release (following Persona's example?)
  • Scalable bug/feature tracking for Q4
  • [stretch] Begin talking about next stage designs (Gecko bindings) for l20n.
