Generic Data on Browser Usage

Knowing how people use the browser in general is not particular for one design question. The goal is to have a way to back up and benchmark how browser performance and user experienced are influenced by any design changes we might make in the future.

All generic data we collected are not personally identifiable. Also, all these data won't be collected without participants' explicit agreement.

The followings are some generic browser usage data we consider meaningful to user experience. They are not logged or implemented yet.

  • Firefox version
  • Firefox language/local (e.g. Firefox en-US)
