  • Ideas on how to increase contribution to the Learning Area
    • where can we find people who would want to contribute
    • how to promote to existing communities

Content

  • (Sheppy) Working on a new system for hosting server-side components for samples
  • Learning area is growing fast!

Kuma

  • The problems with cached templates breaking other templates that include them should be resolved at last!
    • If you change a template that is used by other templates, be sure to shift-reload both the template you changed and the one(s) that use it, to pick up the changes.
  • (currently disabled pending bugfixes) The save buttons are now disabled if no changes have been made to the page. This should help reduce the number of "empty" revisions in our system. Yay to Ruben for contributing this code!
    • This has not made production yet due to some remaining bugs to fix.
  • CustomCSS has been disabled and all its contents migrated into the platform. Work on new CSS can be done on staging then uplifted to prod.
  • The 404 page can be localized.
  • Blocking Google Analytics no longer breaks all external links on MDN.
  • You can once again highlight lines of text in samples.
  • Assorted other style and layout fixes.
  • The wiki's file attachment code has moved to its own module, to make it easier to maintain and update in the future.
  • Text has been added to the GitHub signup page explaining why we're asking for an email address.
