Topics

Typically we focus on Web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SVG, MathML, etc.), but other areas of MDN such as Mozilla technology (apps, BrowserID, XUL, XPCOM, etc.) or the Mozilla project (building, testing, localizing) are all fair game.

Some topic areas where MDN is lacking and needs more content:

• Kuma template fixes
• BrowserID (Persona)
• Boot-to-Gecko / Firefox OS
• Big push on CSS Reference and tutorials
• WebAPI
• Pick among the many dev-doc-needed bugs
• Update IndexedDB docs
• Localization

Schedule

The following are the times when in-person sprinters are going to be working. Remote sprinters are welcome to work outside these hours, whenever is convenient in your time zone.

• Thursday:
  • dinner @ Wagamama Leicester Square, 14 Irving street. Reservations at 20:00 (optional). Please let Ali know if you are joining us
• Friday: 9:30am to 5:30pm
  • 9:30 am - Introductions, what you will be working on
  • 12:00 lunch
  • 17:00: roundtable on progress of projects/writing
  • dinner @ 18:00, Dishoom Bombay Cafe
• Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm
  • 9:00 - start working
  • 13:00 - lunch
  • 15:30 - roundtable on what was accomplished during the day
  • leave the office/hotel ~16:30
  • excursion to London Eye
  • dinner @ Waterloo Bar & Grill, reservations 19:45.
• Sunday: 9:30am to 5:00pm
  • 9:30 - start working
  • 16:00 wrap up
  • optional dinner for people still in town. 19:30 @ Belgo Centraal, 50 Earlham Street. Please let Ali know if you want to go to dinner!
