Localization

(by teoli — unfortunately not there) I've noticed that non-activated "zones" are really a problem for coherent l10n documentation. The top page of a zone contains the sidemenu. If the zone is not activated, this menu doesn't appear on the sub pages and the navigation of the whole zone is completely broken, rendering the translated pages disconnected and almost useless. To solve this, we need to have the top page (not the whole zone) of each zone translated in as many locale as possible

I'm looking for help: I want to have these 5 pages translated in as many languages as possible: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Apps https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Tools https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/MDN https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Marketplace

These pages are not long pages to translate, and a special care should be done to the side menu that will appear on all pages of the zone!

These pages are often already translated, but sometimes partially, sometimes completely up-to-date. I have done an assessment of these and can tell what has to be done in each case.

If you want to help, contact me (irc:teoli, @teoli2033, jperrier@mozilla.com , with the locale and the page you want to help. I will give you the assessment of the page.

Each time one of the page is translated I can activate the zone (and be sure the pages are tidied up): this will ease the work of new translators and allow a partially translated zones to be usable by readers.
