1)Discuss/Review https://wiki.mozilla.org/Media/WebRTC/Status_Post_IETF-84

a)Focusing this week on Current Status/"Priority 0" Items - EKR has a call between a VM and the host machine (Linux to Mac) - EKR has updated the test harness at http://webrtc-demo.herokuapp.com/mozdemo/ - WRT to SDP editing, we should do an initial trivial cut that allows identities and then we need to have a real meeting to discuss what the spec should allow. - <ehugg> Some signaling cleanup patches that should be squeezed in here. - DTLS signaling patch should be cleaned up tomorrow. - new m= line and media class in signaling for DataChannel

b)Discuss anything in the write up that isn't clear or that needs more attention NOTE: Goal for this write up by next Tues (8/21):

  • To reach consensus on a good list of Priority 0 and Priority 1 items
  • To have a primary owner for all tasks in the write up

NOTE: All active members of the project should feel free to update the write up so that it reflects the consensus of the team coming out of IETF-84 The above wiki page speaks to implementation (minimal functionality, followed by compliance with the spec, followed by interop with Chrome). It doesn't speak to the plans for peer reviews, security reviews, or QA testing and acceptance. Regarding QA testing and acceptance, I think we need to have a separate meeting (maybe at the end of the mozGetUserMedia triage) where we can discuss and answer the following questions and define action items for moving a test plan forward.

  • Agreement to hold general testing meeting after GetUserMedia meeting

2) Can we have the current priority 0 items (modulo stability) done by next Tuesday (8/21)?

  • general agreement

3) Within the priority 1 (spec) items, can we prioritize the items that are known to be real interop issues with Chrome? Thus far Maire believes they are:

  • Make sure that the VP8 and Opus SDP is correct
  • Decide on/implement some SDP modifications
    • rtcp-mux, bundle
  • Receive trickle ICE [ekr, emannion]

4) What spec issues (with the working groups) are holding us up?

  • Finalizing DataChannels
  • Microsoft stuff threw some JSEP issues up in the air
  • Bundle/MID/etc

5) Testing (QA) sync up

6) Discuss any current blockers for people or new items that haven't been discussed

  • None mentioned
