What is the overall goal I want to accomplish by attending MozCamp Europe
Meet (awesome) new Mozillians, put IRC handles to faces, meet up with friends, convince my brother that Mozilla ain't that bad, talk to lots of people about Mozilla Communities and get them excited.
What I want to achieve by Sunday (September 9th)
- Host my session and come out with great plans and ideas for the Mozilla Communities Project
- Make sure I speak to people from Creative and (possibly) Wedev, to get them on board with Mozilla Communities
- Talk and ask people questions about Mozilla going beyond just campaigning against anti-free-Internet laws in North America (like SOPA and PIPA), and extending that campaigning to laws in Europe
- Talk with people about BuddyCloud, and work out an initial domain for its testing within Mozilla (Reps)
-
Rant a lot about lawyers in the Mozilla and Minors session - Successfully clone myself to be able to attend all the awesome sessions happening at the same time (there aren't enough hours in the day)
What I will achieve by September 23rd
- Follow up on the Mozilla Communities session with attendees
- (Hopefully) get a BuddyCloud installation up, for testing
What I will achieve by October 7th
- Have Mozilla Communities as a solid project, supported by Mozillians from around the globe and where active, lively and regular discussion takes place about and with communities
- Have some useful comments and thoughts on Buddycloud, from the testing
