Roadmap

The community planning group is working on a number of projects for the site. Although the community group does not set timelines on their projects (as a volunteer run project things are done when they're done) the following is an educated guess at the roadmap for the next several months.

Q3 2009

• Deploy new site design
• Transition to SVN and PHP-based templating system
• Deploy a Doctor replacement
• Kick off page-level design and content projects (see Content Priorities)
• Continued archiving and documentation migration

Q4 2009

• Update Getting Involved page and more key pages to make them interactive and dynamic (see Content Priorities)
• Hook into localization community to start localizing key site pages
• Hook into web QA community
• Hook into Metrics team
• Continue with archiving and documentation migration

Q1 2010

• Integrate with affiliated sites (contribute.mozilla.org, CRM...)
• Update more key pages (see Content Priorities)
• Wrap up archiving and continue documentation migration

Q2 2010

• TBD
