Firefox Desktop Release Automation

Firefox desktop release automation involves preparing and executing the functional and update Mozmill test automation for every Firefox release, as well as triaging and reporting the results.

  • Creating a config file
  • Uploading the config file to Jenkins and ensuring the tests are started

  • Correlating results to existing bugs and filing new bugs as appropriate
  • Ensuring functional tests are automatically run, triggering them manually if necessary
