Action Items / Takeaways from Last Week
- Action Items:
- [DONE] [davehunt] explore Jenkins plugins - https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Build+Publisher+Plugin
- [davehunt] will be an ongoing todo - create pull-requests for web qa projects, simplifying the .travis.yml to only run pyflakes
- Bob has started this with a patch for Marketplace
- [DONE] [mbrandt] draft of community test plan checklist
Discussion Items / Updates
- Travis-CI - loop-back - do we have additional conversation that should take place around running only pyflakes?
- [davehunt] Build publisher plugin has been configured to publish on-device marketplace tests to our public Jenkins instance, but in order to do this I have had to disable CSRF protection.
- [davehunt] Jenkins migration update:
- Sauce labs AMO jobs have been migrated.
- Raised bug 1131252 to allow new Jenkins instance to use the existing Selenium Grid hub.
- Marketplace will be next.
- Documentation in progress:
- [stephend/team] - Best wishes as we say "goodbye" (officially) to Florin, Viorela, Andrei, and Robert :-\
- [stephend] - passdown on IT's interest in resurrecting/owning wiki-tests (and how I see it and our strategy aligning and picking up traction)
- [stephend] - Reminder: Monday, 2/16 is President's Day -- U.S. staff will be off
- [stephend] - rubric(ish) for our documentation - be thinking about it; might be good to have guidelines (not rules):
- [davehunt] Migrate Jenkins during President's Day?
Goals Check-in - 1st and 3rd meetings, monthly
