  • Build sign-offs – 38 RC, 38.0.5 Beta 1, 31.7 ESR, 38.0 ESR
  • 49 fixes entered 38.0 ESR, ~20 assigned for verification - this means extra effort form us to sign off the ESR build
  • several requests keep coming in to test various other areas or individual bugs - the team is currently stretched to the maximum in trying to accommodate all requests (38.0.5 feature testing and other tasks have to be treated with lower priority until the release for 38)

• • maja_zf has written a mozharness script to run the youtube tests with. She is still having issues with marionette hanging, but has moved the thrust of her work to reporting results to tree herder. Also investigating FF oom crashes triggered by long-running youtube tests; difficult to reproduce.
  • sydpolk now has EME tests that detect when video playback is broken. Should wrap the tests up the next couple of days, and integrate with maja_zf’s work by next meeting.
