QA Services Team Meeting
- November 17, 2010
- Attendees:
Discussion Items
Project Status
CrashKill [tomcat/marcia]
- Keeping on top of trunk crashes, especially ones related to the asynchronous plugin in landing.
- http://etherpad.mozilla.com:9000/TrunkCrashAnalysis summarizes some of the major bugs we are watching.
- CrashKill team reviewed the top 20 bugs at the CrashKill mtg on Monday. Some of the bugs have been fixed on the trunk. Sheila rolled up a report that was given at the Platform meeting on Tuesday with feedback from the meeting.
Accessibility Status Update [marco]
- In Toronto this week to work hard on regression bugs with David f2f.
- Dealing with bug 610985, bug 498015, bug 594586, bug 577727, bug 573469, bug 381599, and many others. We feel on top of things on the API side, it's just some amount of work left to deal with.
- Went through the UI already and found that all relevant bugs, most importantly dependent bugs on bug 563909 to deal with a proper keyboard UI for the new Add-Ons Manager, are already on file and still all in effect as before.
- Investigation into a mystrious crasher that first appeared with beta 7, and which we don't have a clue to yet. Hoping for BZ's wisdom here.
Community Building/Events (ideas and progress) [marcia/tomcat]
- Need to do some brainstorming about events we want to target for 2011.
- Meeting scheduled with William Quiviger during All Hands week to discuss this further.
- For accessibility, the only fixed date for 2011 is the CSUN 2011 conference March 13-16 in San Diego, CA.
- For Europe / Germany
- we work hard on Cebit 2011 and mozilla
- Next Munich Meetup, November 26 also working on a event with Gary
QA Videos [marcia]
- Finished principal photography for the "Making Mozilla Better." Rainer will have to reshoot a few of the computer scenes. I recorded the 3 screencasts. I need to work on the music. On track to have this finalized for quarter end and to get feedback from the team during the All Hands week.
