Automation

  • Mozmill 2.0.2 has been released; Now working on mozmill-automation 2.0.2 and new environments
  • Once all releases went out we will upgrade Mozmill in CI to 2.0.2 for testing and hopefully can go live tomorrow.
  • We will merge all the latest CI changes from master into staging for further testing. If all goes well we will push to production early next week; this push will help us a lot in terms of stability.
  • Anthony please update the aurora jobs in ci to auroratest when updates are disabled. we got a lot of failures today because no update has been found on the aurora channel ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=948102 )


Previous Action Items

  • [in progress] Anthony to communicate "effect of uplifts" more to mobile/desktop QA teams to get feedback, include methodology for collecting numbers
  • Revisit testing SSL (TLS) for next releases, since TLS 1.1 got pulled from Fx26.
  • [MattW] To set up a VM to build ASAN builds for security fix verification. Documentation included.
  • (in progress) - [juanb] Talk to web team (Raymond) to see if we can get news subscriptions for QMO
    • What are the options? RSS? Something not necessarily requiring QMO registration.
  • (not done) - [juanb] to run Add-on compatibility testrun using Mozmill. Chat with Henrik.


Discussion Items

  • Fixed bugs triage - bugs without status flags
  • Metro testing resources allocation - any updates?
    • No update yet, however we will be adding one staff person dedicated to Metro.
  • Moztrap, Metro, Mozmill, where we are at with tests cases.
    • Henrik still has to add the 'set as default browser' for mozrunner. this is my next task after stabilizing mozmill-ci production
    • Metro has been changed lately and it broke Mozmill. We shipped a fix together with Mozmill 2.0.2
    • No further action in the last week by SV on the metro tests / libs
  • Firefox roadmap for 2014
    • The only highlights so far are Australis and Metro.
