Upcoming Schedule
Channel Status
Beta (Fx 28)
- Feature sign-offs for release should be done by Friday eod.
Aurora (Fx 29)
- Feature sign-offs for the merge to beta will be done next week.
Nightly (Fx 30)
ESR (Fx 24.4)
Security
- Safe browsing, pkix compatibility
- CanSecWest / pwn2own hacking contest, possible chemspill late next week
Automation
- Henrik has started to investigate the problem for TPS tests (Firefox Accounts)
- Metro tests are getting run on SV mozmill-ci staging via pulse - we don't want to rush and fix issues which will come up over the next days before pushing a new mozrunner release
- Mozmill 2.0.6 will support initial crash handling / reporting which will help us to see if a testrun caused a Firefox crash.
Stability
- Crash rates look good on all channels right now, there have been a few Nightly issues over the last week but the bad ones should be fixed now.
- If anyone comes across the malware causing bug 973138 (MovieMode.48CA2AEFA22D.dll or similar name), KaiRo would like a copy of that DLL to submit it to anti-virus companies.
