Stability
- Aurora, Beta and Release look pretty good in overall crash rates, Nightly has a few issues that are being tracked.
- The bad crashes on beta have been fixed due to our pushing, a few more might be worth working on, also some non-major issues on Aurora to push on.
- Started putting together an analysis matrix for issues we didn't catch/fix as soon as we should, and tried it out on a few recent stability bugs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Au-Dw_f8snrydDhseUczVFY0Z2pmSnMwc2JYdG5McEE&usp=sharing (should now be open for everyone to view) - let KaiRo know if there's possible improvements
Community
- building a tool to help with contributors for desktop triage & manual testing (lizzard)
** given a list of bugmail addresses, track who's active in bugzilla for this year, this week.
- nearly keeping up with answering contributor inquiries. pointing them towards triage tutorial, Nightly unconfirmed bugs.
Previous Action Items
[juanb] To provide feedback for possible Metro tests to Mozmillify
- which would be relevant to localized builds
- Add Softvision, Liz, Kamil, Nils, to desktop-qa list, switch to dev-quality
- Lots of bugs to verify, limited resources, how do we prioritize?
- Currently, beta bugs keep us busy enough that we get no time for aurora verifications. This may lead to an even bigger load once aurora merges to beta.
- Idea: one person dedicated to Aurora for this? (+bug triage and investigations on aurora)
Discussion Items
Notes and Actions
- mschifer to follow up with Platform/Automation re: WebGL automation coverage (so we can catch issues like bug 975824 more easily)
