Sync: ap, storage, node, reg, sreg updates are planned to ship tomorrow. We're adding rollback steps to the plan, so it's been delayed until tomorrow. https://intranet.mozilla.org/Services/Ops/ChangeWindow_20120509 links to the various bugs.

  • Finished refactoring the metlog-py global config and client management code.
  • Completely rewrote the metlog-py "Getting Started" docs, new example code.
  • metlog-py 0.8.5 released.
  • Updated mozsvc and tests for server-syncstorage and server-aitc to work w/ metlog-py changes.
  • Updated metlog-raven plug-in for exception gathering, including changed to Raven core which are to soon be merged into upstread Raven client.
  • Started revisiting the metlog-node client to bring it up to parity w/ metlog-py.

SyncStorage/AITC (rfkelly)

  • finalized security fix for accountportal.
  • work on easier running of live functional tests.
  • started refactoring syncstorage internals to improve atomicity/consistency guarantees.

Queuey (bbangert/hannosch)

  • [qdo] Implemented new simplified static worker/queue assignment
  • [qdo] Provided helpful Zookeeper bug reports to Ben, who's more optimistic than I am ;-)
  • [zktools] Lots of work and updating to appropriately handle a variety of edge cases
  • [zktools] Added async lock that can be established in the background

  • Supporting work on signing service for Marketplace
  • More of the same for the next couple of weeks

  • AITC reviews continue
  • Implemented mock HTTP server for AITC 1.0 service
  • Sync client refactoring continues

Nothing super interesting to report. Fennec probably heading to beta on Wednesday.

fnCrypto

  • Added sync engine for crypto elements.
  • Learned a good deal about how jetpack likes to sandbox things.

QA

Client Testing and Sign-offs (tracy)

  • lingering client train on the tracks today. Mostly refactoring work, all bugs are[qa-]. Will smoketest Sync end to end for sign-off.
  • Recovery key bugs 749957 and 751950 were pushed directly to m-c Friday of last week. I will verify them with the client train.

Sync Server (jbonacci/jrgm)

  • Completed Sync Stage deployment testing for storage, nodes, ap, and reg/sreg (see ticket list below)
  • Deployment to Sync Production today (5/8/2012):
  • Work to begin today or tomorrow on AITC Stage deployment for Aitc 1.1
  • Work continues on Sync 2.0, AITC 1.x, and TokenServer functional, load, doc, etc.

BrowserID (jrgm/jbonacci)

  • Train 26: Bug 749756 - QA and deploy BrowserID train-2012.04.27 to production
  • Q2 test planning for the following:
    • Updated API, UI flow, RP, Keywrapping
    • Persona Beta
