• Finally finished implementing some design changes re: how stats are handled inside the Heka pipeline.
• Lots of further work on Cloudwatch; Input plugin now functional.
• Experimenting w/ submitted ElasticSearch output plugin.
• Improved config parsing to emit warnings when using config options that don't actually exist, instead of ignoring them.
• Sent Ben on research mission to uncover the secrets of the C-star.
• Slight tweaks to the flood heka load testing tool.
• Provided support for j-bo (i.e. the QA team) to get Heka stood up on AWS instances for ongoing experimentation and testing.

Sync (telliott)

• RIP scl2. any users heading there now will be 401d
• Exploring options for testing the new version while we don't have a sync cluster
• Looking into idp-based sync solutions

SimplePush (jr)

• continued bug fixes from QA/Integration work.
• deployed go server to production

• Sync Stage was decommissioned yesterday, so all further Stage testing and load testing is on hold until we have an AWS-based environment (with DBs in PHX1) set up.

  • Bug 866573 - Deploy trial server-storage nodes in AWS; server-storage -> 1.16-2, server_core -> 2.13-5

• Progress is being made on PiCL-IdP. This is getting close to being testable by QA.
