Screen sharing is a free, open project that added screen sharing to Firefox without plugins, using open web [[standards]].  Checkout (__________).
 
To safeguard the security of our users, Mozilla will block Screen Sharing by default. 
 
To add Screen Sharing to your site, Firefox has implemented a whitelist that allows approved applications, if their authors satisfy specified requirements.  
 
Though we believe that Screen Sharing will become an integral part of applications and the web experience, today the authorization prompts vital to maintain security are not available in a satisfactory the user experience.  
 
We are testing designs for interface options that allow users to make an informed choice on which applications to enable for screen sharing, but there is the ever-present challenge of doing this in a way that both clearly informs users of the risk and doesn’t create overly-burdensome user experience.
