In the smart home, Mozilla would create a controller (called FoxBox) that can interact with all sensors and actuators.  Mozilla would provide a web app platform, where 3rd parties can add functionalty, that will allow the user to control their home system from the web. Mozilla would look at (long term) creating an open protocol that would allow all vendors to have an impact in the IOT world.
