Teach the web was an event organised by Moziety at CMRIT on the 5th of February. The event was an introduction themed to be an introduction to web development based on HTML and CSS. The event was a grand success with students from first to third year coming together to be a part of the session. The session witnessed a participation of about 200-250 students. It was a hands-on session where students could deploy every new skill that was being taught to them and hence no aspect of the session remained dry as it was very interactive. | |||

Thimble design challenge will be held at the CMRIT campus as an event of the college's cultural extravaganza Cultura'16.The event is a beginner level web development contest. The facilitators will demonstrate the use of Thimble and then open up a contest for the next 90 minutes, where the students will have to create/remix a web hack. Each round will have elimination and at the end, the top one or two groups will be awarded prizes and goodies. | |||
