There has been ongoing discussion in the community about creating a [http://www.intothefuzz.com/2007/10/15/mozilla-power/ Powered by Mozilla] logo that people and organizations can use as part of their projects or products.  We have been working on creating some guidelines to determine how the logo can be used and this page lists some open issues about technology that still need to be sorted out.  If you have feedback, comments or suggestions about this information, feel free to edit this page or add notes to the discussion page.
This page contains information about the Powered by Mozilla logo and efforts to get the word out about it.

If we're creating a program about Mozilla technologies to be used with the Powered by Mozilla logo, we need to figure out what technologies to include in that program. We need to be specific since we don't want someone to be able to check out one file from our repositories and then claim that their application is Powered by Mozilla.

There is a lot about the community of people who are reusing Mozilla technologies that we don't know (the term dark matter comes up often in relation to this part of the community). Creating a survey to get a better understanding of needs, activities, etc seems like a good thing to do along with talking to people about the Powered by Mozilla logo.
