This is a pioneering thing...
Once someone supports this it´ll become SO ESSENTIAL we´ll ask why we didn´t do it sooner.
*It should work like this:
**No song playing -- normal tab
**Song playing -- Add the traditional [http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/thumb.php?f=Audio-volume-low.svg&width=32px sound] icon
*** Whatever the source (<nowiki><video>, <audio>, flash, silverlight, etc</nowiki>) the audio MUST be detected **MAGIC NEEDED HERE**
**Song muted -- Add the traditional [http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/thumb.php?f=Audio-volume-muted.svg&width=32px muted] icon
Obs: Of course the icons should be Firefox style not tango
