Hi, I'm {insert name} with Mozilla Messaging, and in this video we are going to run through the new Quick&nbsp;Filters feature in Thunderbird 3.1, and learn how much faster, and easier, finding your emails can be.<br>  

In Thunderbird 3.0 we introduced a brand new search system, which made it possible to find messages in any email account or folder. Now we up our game in present you with the Quick Filters toolbar, which, instead of hiding the options box in a menu, brings filters right to your fingertips, allowing you to search by sender, subject, recipients, message, or any combination of these in a matter of moments.<br>  

So lets say I need to find that important email about updating the Mozilla Communities Theme. Well all I have to do is open the Quick Filters toolbar, start searching and apply the filters you want search by, here I am going to use the message and subject filters. Its that simple! {complete this task as being said} There are even some default, commonly used filters which you can apply to the entire folder in a split second. {quick flash of a filter being applied} Need to see that again? {pause} Okay then, so you open the folder you want to apply the filter to and give it a click. You can then see the magic unfold before your very eyes.

Oh... and did I mention that you pin these filters so that as you move from folder to folder... {another short pause} the filter is automagically applied stratight away.
