The following is a listing of the existing RSS readers and feeds across all of our localized sites (as per last modified date at bottom of page). The purpose of this  wiki is to act as an audit and ongoing log of changes to these features as well as document the criteria being considered by marketing and BD for changes to the L10N markets.
BD and Marketing have approved generally across all locales the following readers: BlogLines, My Yahoo, IGoogle. Additional readers that are more relevant to the international locale will be considered on a case by case basis. In general, a logical rationale for including an additional reader is all that's required.
BD approved RSS feeds for enUS and most internatioanl locales is the BBC (in the case where there is an existing feed other than the BBC in FF1.5 those should typically be fine for FF2). Feeds that are requested to be addded must be considered on a case by case basis. The underlying concern in either case (Feed or Reader) is to ensure that the provider of the RSS Feed (or Reader) is aware and have in some way provide us permission to provide an embedded feed (or reader) to their site. We'd like to ensure we have this authorization so as not to crash or otherwise harm the user experience based on the load that typically is encountered when users start using the Feed or Reader.
The table below is a current listing of the existing RSS readers and feeds across all of our localized sites (note: it has come to BD's attention that this information below is not currently - August 28 2006 - accurate, we are working to ensure the information is accurate per 1.5 or the current release in the locale).
The purpose of this  wiki is to act as an audit and ongoing log of changes to these features as well as document the criteria being considered by marketing and BD for changes to the L10N markets and to support QA for current and future releases.
