If the applicant is approved to become a Mozilla Rep, his/her mentor should help him/her to get started. This period is called the orientation period (also known as the "hand-holding" period ) where the mentor makes sure the new Mozilla Rep completes the following activities:
* [[ReMo/SOPs/User_Profile|creates a user profile]] on the ReMo wiki
* signs up to the [[ReMo#Contact|ReMo mailing list]]
* asks all the questions they may have
* Add new Rep's '''bugzilla''' account to '''mozilla-reps''' group
** To do this, go to Bugzilla > Administration (up right) > Users (on left) > Search by bugzilla mail
== Accepting the applicant into the program ==
When the mentor feels his/her mentee has completed the orientation period then the mentor can officially accept the applicant into the program by changing the applicant's status on bugzilla.
