The work-around for this issue is that the user needs to manually delete the pieces of data created during the install process. There is requirements analysis taking place though to figure this out on this [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=761806 bug] and in this [https://wiki.mozilla.org/SummerOfCode/2012/LinuxNativeWebApps wiki].
