Tips

  • Use the hash-tags for both the Firefox Student Ambassador program ("#firefoxstudents") as well as for your university
  • Get your friends to re-tweet your messages (set a goal for the number of re-tweets you would like to get and then see if you can accomplish your goal!)
  • Send out tweets from your Firefox Club's official account
  • Make sure your tweets include a link to the program's wiki or sign-up form
  • Your tweets should detail some of the exciting things your Club is doing! (Stay positive!)
  • Start conversations with other organizations on campus via Twitter - let them know how Firefox will help their organizations

  • Post cute pictures of Firefox or Firefox memes in your updates
  • Post user tips and short-cuts that may be of interest to your friends
  • Get your friends to re-post your messages
  • Make sure your posts include a link to the program's wiki or sign-up form
  • Ask everyone in your Club to 'Like' your page and also be posting updates on a regular basis
  • Make sure to advertise out over Facebook when you are having an event or Club meeting to generate attendees
