[DONE] 2011-07-15 Figure out how to get planning started
- Asa said he'll push this in the triage meeting tomorrow. I let him know that I'll be available to help get anything done or arrange anything that needs to be arranged to keep things on track for landing this quarter.

- 2011-08-05 Asa says they are looking for an engineer to take this on.
- 2011-08-23 Sent out new email to Asa and Johnathan to try to get everyone on the same page and see if we can get this feature picked up.
- 2011-08-26 Asa: "This is in Product top priorities. We will be meeting with Johnath next week hopefully to re-connect on Product and Engineering communications."
- This is just waiting to be done. It's #6 in the list of P1s. Nothing else to do at the moment but wait.

- Latest estimate is that an engineer will pick this up by 10/7/2011

- 10/14 - sent out an invite for Asa, Sheela, Alex and Matt to meet next week and get everyone on the same page.

[DONE] 2011-07-15 Meet with engineering to re-define plan.
[DONE] 2011-07-29 Get script from Rob Strong and begin collecting data.
- 2011-08-04 Rob Strong says the script will be done no later than 08-09-2011.
- I got the script on 2011-08-12 and wrote an article for it (deleted and saved locally). The script will need some changes and security review before we can host it and publish the article.
[MISSED] 2011-08-26 Complete script changes and security review - ready to start working with users.
- Rob Strong says he should have the updated script late today (8/23). I'll collect it and changes to the article and submit to security and sumodev asap.
- 2011-08-29 New script is done but we're waiting on email forwarding and the ability for sumodev to push a new update as often as every day while we test the program.
- [DONE] SUMO infrastructure (download page and file hosting) won't be done until 9/13.
- Rob Strong is heading up the silent install team. Work has stalled while that gets started.

- Johnathan says, this feature "needs more careful scoping - there are two or three features in there, unified by a central goal but nonetheless distinct. We should figure out what the smallest thing is that we can do to help people first, build a specific and well-defined feature page around that, and get it staffed. Then the next one. Then the next one."
