Firefox OS

  • Screen Reader: Report of user in SUMO users getting stuck and no obvious way to get out: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1000757#answer-574723 Is it in development still?
    • [jsmith] It's behind a development flag to my understanding, so I would avoid using this feature unless the user has complete confidence of exactly how the screen reader gestures work
  • Update to ZTE Open C developer device from Ebay: No Russian or simplified Chinese keyboard still keyboard
  • ZTE Open C from Ebay is currently not rooted
  • ZTE will provide a new build with root privileges, which will allow users to install additional keyboards.
  • bug 959410 - [Fireweb] [a-GPS] - a-GPS location incorrect 1.1 - issue depends on the population of Qualcomm's cell-id database - closed today resolved incomplete in agreement with TEF and VIVO

Firefox For Android

  • FF30 working on documentation for quickshare from context menu to 2 most "frecent" (thanks to Joni who as always did 99% of the work in English !)
  • FF30 working on documentation for World Cup Add-on (thanks to Joni who as always did 99% of the work in English !) - I'll send a note out to L10N leaders tomorrow (Joni)

  • Firefox sync if your first device profile is blank, a new device's profile will be overwritten, please ask users asking about this to have a back up of the profile. [2] and [3]
  • Also third party cookies are required to maintain a logged in session of Firefox Sync or at least an exception for sync servers
