Firefox for Desktop 47
- VP9 video codec for users with fast machines
- embedded youtube.com videos will play with HTML5 if Flash is not installed
- View all synced tabs if you have a Firefox Sync account in a side bar
- Addons using FUEL will no longer work
- Click to activate plugins whitelist has been removed, except for Flash. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1263630 ( This means that they will revert to the default click-to-activate behavior. aw)
- Service workers have some new tools for logging in the Developer Tools

Firefox for Android 47
- New feature to Add "Show/Hide web fonts" in advanced settings
- Heads up 2.3 Android will no longer be a supported platform after Firefox 47, so its time to think about a new phone or updating that Android system
