What is Hive Learning Network and how might it work in your city (20 minutes) (Chris and Lainie)

BigBlueButton fireside chat tomorrow at 12 EST
How to build a learning network in your city (BigBlueButton)
   http://lanyrd.com/2011/mozilla-hivelearning/
Brief introduction to Hive Learning Network
Elements that make Hive NYC work
Potential strategies for bringing Hive-ness to new locations
   1) Hive as self-serve a la carte
   2) Hive pop-ups as proof of concept
   3) Launching a formal network
   1) Hive as self-serve a la carte
What's the menu? What's on offer?
Hive + members have multiple programs & projects. (30+)
e.g., Hackasaurus, Popcorn, MoJo -- aimed at / packaged for youth
Youth educators creating great stuff. Create kits and package for greater adoption and scale.
   2) Hive pop-ups as proof of concept
Opportunity to fast-track partnerships / community + survey interested partners. Shows everything Hive does in compressed package.
Interested in doing more pop-ups internationally & U.S.
   3) Launching a formal network
Creating a kit for creating your own Hive network. MakerFaire tool kit as template.
I love the idea of Hive-tivity Kit!
   Communications channels for getting support.
   Funding is key here.
   Potential candidate cities:
   London
   Toronto
   Berlin
   Barcelona
   Tokyo
   Nairobi
   In U.S.:

Lovebomb-http://lovebomb.me/ (please don't tweet about it just yet--we'd like to add at least one more template first by the end of the week)
   http://cmon.lovebomb.me/zgsrivav (a love bomb to atul) +1
Feature request -> edit your lovebomb and re-publish
   Next step:
   Add 1 more simple template
   Have Mozilla IT host this?
Atul: follow up with MRZ on this?
   Surface as blog posts

   Valentine's Day campaign? " +1 (make every day a valentine's day)
Pls add basic Moz branding ( + one on the branding
   tab, footer)
that's a great idea and really means Mozilla IT should be involved to make sure this site doesn't fall over.
This would seriously lend itself to a game. (That's a challenge to MoFo!)
